Hello, I'm John Jimenez
|
I build reporting, workflow automation, and process-improvement solutions that turn messy operations into clear decisions.
Targeting data, automation, and IT operations roles in Florida or remote — available now
How I Work
I'm a graduating FSU IT student with five internships across higher education, county government, and cybersecurity. My work lives at the intersection of data, automation, and operations — turning messy processes into something measurable and repeatable.
At FSU ITS I built an AI-assisted pipeline that classified 6,000+ form fields and audited an 8,000+ file SharePoint library from scratch. At Miami-Dade CITT I authored a board-approved transit report that's now published on the county website. At Miami-Dade Procurement I built the SharePoint issue tracker and PMO dashboard the team still uses.
I'm looking for data analyst, automation, or IT operations roles in Florida or remote starting now.

Featured Work
The strongest portfolio pieces below focus on analytics, workflow automation, IT operations, and reporting improvement.
Library Health Audit: Preservation & Strategic Roadmap
Result: Identified 33% redundant content and a migration path for 8,300+ files.
Problem: Slow, aging SharePoint libraries. Action: built a scalable PnP PowerShell audit and extraction framework.
Municipal Program PTP Update (FY 2026–30)
Result: Delivered a board-approved FY 2026-30 municipal update used for planning.
Problem: fragmented city transit data. Action: consolidated 30+ municipal sources and redesigned reporting visuals.
FSU Forms Intelligence Dashboard
Result: Classified 6,000+ fields across 287 forms from 18+ departments, producing a dashboard to drive standardization decisions.
Problem: No measurable baseline for field naming consistency across FSU forms. Action: Built a 6-step pipeline using Python, pdfplumber, Gemini, and a dual-AI review method (Gemini + Claude agreement-only) to filter low-confidence results.
Automated Regression Test Dashboard
Result: Reduced manual QA status updates by 20% for regression reporting.
Problem: manual test-status updates slowed release prep. Action: built a SharePoint-connected VBA dashboard for real-time visibility.
Mobility Matters – Community Interview
This interview adds context to my transit work and shows how I think about public-facing technology, communication, and service improvement.
